Recently, we went into the countryside, carried out artistic practice of rural cultural revitalization, planned the report exhibition of works “Writing the Earth, Poetry and the Distant”, and explored the creation and display path of rural cultural revitalization – “art rural construction”.
In this “art rural construction” practice, we pay special attention to the “roots” of rural culture and the local artistic creation style, and hope to awaken villagers’ confidence in their local culture by expressing the rural cultural channels. This is a challenge. For us studio students who use traditional calligraphy, painting and printing art, I think this is not only a challenge, but also a kind of nirvana.
