Kaishan Island was once stationed by the coastal defense forces. After the troops were withdrawn in 1985, the Kaishan Island militia outpost was established. This small island has no electricity or fresh water, and is not suitable for people to live for a long time. More than 10 soldiers who have visited the island have been unwilling to be on duty for a long time.
